Campaign Story

If you’ve met me, odds are, you’ve heard me talk about my cousin Kayla. We are three months apart and grown up hand in hand. Kayla is not only my best friend but she is also one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. Kayla is someone who shows up, bends over backwards and helps everyone she loves. So, I’m taking it upon myself to help her.

For the past three years, Kayla and her husband have been trying to have a baby. When I was pregnant with Arlyn, she miscarried her first baby. This hit us all like a ton of bricks because our babies would’ve been the same age difference we are. Kayla kept trying to only be disappointed each month, for over two years.

Back in October 2023, they had their first IUI appointment set up. They were finally ready to receive help and figure out what was going on. Then Kayla’s mom passed away very unexpectedly. They weren’t sure when they were going to reschedule it but ultimately decided her mom wouldn’t have wanted them to wait long. So they set it up again.

Fast forward to today, Kayla and her husband, have done three rounds of IUI with no luck. They are ready to move onto IVF and I want to help by at least raising money for the medication. This entire process is so expensive and I know that we can take some of the stress off.
